CACHE began as PIFF®, a name that carried us through 10 years of growth, connection, and creativity. What started as a small streetwear brand became a cornerstone of the Minneapolis fashion scene — thanks to the incredible support of our community. As the brand evolved, so did our vision. The name CACHE reflects where we’re headed: a curated collection, a hidden gem, a space for discovery.

2025
The Rebrand
In 2025, we rebranded from PIFF® to CACHE to reflect over a decade of evolution in the Minneapolis streetwear scene. What began as a small, independent streetwear brand in South Minneapolis grew into a cornerstone of local fashion culture, known for its community-first approach and bold, curated drops. As our identity matured, so did our vision. The name CACHE represents where we’re headed — a curated collection of brands we love, a hidden gem in Minneapolis, and a space for style and discovery.
2022
From Como to Northeast
After several moves over the years, 2022 marked a turning point for us. We relocated from our small storefront on Como Avenue to a larger, more permanent space in Northeast Minneapolis — a neighborhood known for its creativity, culture, and community. The move wasn’t just about square footage; it was about setting down roots.
2020
Back on Como
In 2020, amid the COVID-19 lockdown, we faced some of the hardest moments in our journey. Like many small businesses in Minneapolis, we had to pivot quickly. We moved the PIFF® Minneapolis store back to our original location at 1506 Como Avenue — a move that was part necessity, part return to our foundation. In the middle of uncertainty, we leaned on our community, reconnected with our roots, and kept pushing forward.
2018
More Than a Storefront
In 2018, we expanded to a larger space on Como Avenue, just across from our original storefront. This new location became a hub for clothing pop-ups, art shows, and music events, further cementing our place in the Minneapolis fashion and art scene.
2014
Humble Beginnings
PIFF® Minneapolis opened its first storefront in 2014 on Como Avenue in Dinkytown, right near the University of Minnesota. What started as a small, hustle-driven shop quickly made noise for carrying Supreme, rare sneakers, and curated streetwear pieces that weren’t easy to find in Minneapolis at the time. We built a loyal following from day one — college kids, collectors, and streetwear enthusiasts all pulling up to see what was on the shelves. That tiny space laid the foundation for everything that came next.
